- Stock #[removed phone] - Many new upgrades & equipment, Great liveaboardThe Morgan 452 was originally designed by Henry A. Scheel, N.A., as a semi-custom quality built vessel. It has been modified by Morgan Yachts to maintain that quality and design. To give speed while retaining directional stability, a moderate fin keel with a seperate skeg rudder was used. The Morgan 452 is a great cruising boat in the best traditions of Charlie Morgan. It's solidly built and comfortable like the Out Islands that cruisers love but it has a different hull shape for better and stable sailing.MORGAN 452 SCHEEL KEEL KETCH LAYOUT The companionway goes from a bit port of center in the cockpit down to the saloon. At the foot of the ladder to starboard is a U shaped galley. Forward of the galley is an L shaped settee. A fold down table is mounted on the forward bulkhead. The table comes down to table height or settee height to make a large double berth. Opposite, to port, is a straight settee. The back lifts to make a large berth. Aft of the port settee is an unusual nav station with forward facing full size chart table and an aft facing nav station desk. A passage leads aft to the owner's cabin. In the passage is an access door to the engine room. The owner's berth is a large double oriented athwartships. To port is cabinetry including a vanity, drawers and a hanging locker. Forward to starboard is the owner's head with separate tub & shower. A door in the shower gives access to the engine room. Forward of the saloon to starboard is a second head with shower. Access to the VIP cabin is to port. The VIP features 2 single berths with the starboard berth foot extending over the port berth. The current and third owner loves this big roomy sailboat both as a cruiser and liveaboard. He, with professional help rebuilt the engine which now has approx 50 hours.
